COMMUNITY GARDEN AND BARBECUE AREA
Behind the Community Centre sits the Community Garden, a pleasant green space to be enjoyed by both locals and visitors alike. Surrounded by hedges and trees, the garden contains wheelchair-friendly picnic tables, a gazebo and a barbecue area, all of which can be booked for social events.
Our Community Garden is dedicated to the late Calum Murdo Maclean, who designed and project-managed the construction of the new Centre.
We also have two picnic tables located next to the car park in front of the Centre (shown in the foreground of the photo at the top of this page). A stone wall surrounding them provides some shelter from the wind.
Please ensure you dispose of any litter from your picnics in the bins provided.
TENNIS COURT
Our Tennis Court is located at the north end of the Community Centre. The Court is available for anyone to hire and includes tennis rackets and balls if required.
